I was probably 7 years old when I first held a camera and took a picture of our neighbor's dog. From that time I have slowly progressed from taking pictures to making them. I began to be more active in this pursuit in highschool but there were also periods of lull when things became crazier. In my twenties, I rediscovered the passion and brought it to another level. I shoot subjects from nature to people to anything that stirs my soul to press the shutter. The greatest joy is when I feel I was successful as that is my ultimate goal. This I define as not just producing a technically sound image in terms of exposure, sharpness and composition but when that image was captured at the perfect moment. That is after all what my photography is all about...capturing moments that will last a lifetime.
